About 20km north of Sharm El Sheikh
Popular with day trippers, Nabaq is home to the most northerly mangrove forests in the world and boasts an abundance of wildlife, including large mammals like the gazelle and nubian ibex, as well as a multitude of water birds. For divers and snorklers this area also has some of the least-spoiled coral reefs on Egypt's coastline and the waters teem with grouper, trigger and rabbitfish. The area is protected and there is a small fee for entering.
